GIRL SCOUTS TROOP 60735 NORTHERN CALIFORNIA.

Durante varios años he vivido en la Bahía de San Francisco, en el corazón de Silicon Valley.

Una zona que gira alrededor de empresas de la tecnología más puntera.

Esto crea una población muy especial, una mezcla de gente de diferentes razas y culturas venida de todas partes del mundo. Un crisol de culturas, religiones, tradiciones, gastronomía y celebraciones que las familias conservan y atesoran en sus hogares a la vez que hacen suyas las tradiciones americanas.

Con este trabajo he querido mostrar esa Torre de Babel que allí convive en total armonía. Para ello he elegido el grupo de niñas que forman la Tropa 60735 de las Girl Scouts.

Through this project, my aim is to show the remarkable diversity of the Californian population, especially in the San Francisco Bay Area. Here, people from all around the world live together and share their cultures, customs and characteristics. All retain their religion, cuisine, celebrations, traditions and ways of life, and integrate these with the American ones, effectively inhabiting both cultures.

As an example of this diversity, I’ve chosen the girls that make up the Girl Scouts Troop 60735 of Northern California.
